I had my right shoulder done in March last year. It was a rotator cuff decompression and tendon repair to have a large chunk of calcium removd from my supraspinatus tendon. I do have very good days but I also have days when it is sore. Range of movement is quite good. It can be somewhat sore at times after sleeping in bed. I will be seeing the surgeon again for a check up on May 2.
wow you're still having problems after a yr + after surgery yikes. Hope you feel better soon, I had similar surgery done Feb. 24th about two months now feeling ok at times. Been doing physical therapy for the past six weeks and will continue till I have better range of motion. Therapy has been helping but I got ways to go. The doctor did say it will take anywhere from six months to a year before I'm fully recovered and back to my old self so to speak. Then again he said everyone is different so we'll see. I too have more pain in the mornings guess it's because of how I slept. Feel better
I was told that by the physio. I do have very god days, but today is not such a good day.
Awww I know how you feel, I'm the same way. I find that taking extra strength Tylenol helps and also putting an ice pack for a bit. I'm not feeling so hot today, I go back to work on Monday after being out for two months can't believe how fast time went. Hope you get some relief feel better
I use Volatrol gel to rub in my shoulderwindow.post_1492703880140_49 = function(win,msg){

It sounds like you had a good bit of surgery there so maybe will take much longer than you expected. I was told it would be 6 -12 months for mine I just had my surgery on the 8th April so less than 2 weeks Sleeping seems to be a problem for all of us It was my biggest problem prior to my surgery. I had an ASD with debrinement of the rotator cuff I saw my shoulder Physio today and he says that whilst it is keyhole and not a lot to see outside he says that I have had a lot of work inside plus a lot of inflammation so will take time to heal Like you I used voltarol gel prior to my surgery Whilst my wounds are more or less healed I want to wait a little bit longer before I go back to using that May 2 just less than 2 weeks so no doubt you will get a clearer picture of how things are going then Good Luck you sound like you need it!
I had a lump of calcium the size of a large rubber 2cm x 3cm in my supraspinatus tendon. My wounds took 6 months to heal fully. The physio told me it would take 6-12 months for mine to heal as well.
