merry Christmas all feeling like rubbish today i keep checking my heart rate aswell as i can constantly hear it in my ear one minute its 55bpm 15 minutes later its like 80 bpm im so fed up feeling like this especially on Christmas day
stop checking your heart rate. . Your heart rate even at 55 is perfectly fine and so is 80. It doesn’t matter how fast your heart is beating. You need to do breathing exercises to slow the rate down if you would feel better about it. But people have had heart rates well above 100 and that’s perfectly fine when you have anxiety.
it also does not matter if you can hear your heart beat. it may be a little louder because of your anxiety. As long as you are healthy, you don’t need to focus on your heart.
get on YouTube and search for meditations for mindfulness breathing. That will help you relax in your heart sound will be quieter. Relax. You are fine this is very common

It’s not silly health anxiety can be scary but jan34534 gave you good advice stop checking your heart rate.
There’s a guy on YouTube the anxiety guy and he had really bad health anxiety you should look at his videos they are extremely helpful.
