Hi

What medication did you use ?

Hi Shelly

I get all this too! I find lemon & ginger tea helps - can get it from anywhere as teabags. I saw a FB recommendation for Ginger water which I'm going to try. Fresh ginger, peeled and chopped in hot water - can have it hot, tepid or fridge cold. Here's hoping!

Hi Shelly,  I find mint and chamomile (I use loose tea) mixed together, helps my tummy a great deal.  I am not much help on the body aches, as I have RA and am on Prednesone, so I can not take much over the counter meds, or other pain meds.  My pharmacist did say I could take the generic for Tylenol PM (I was having trouble sleeping too) for short periods, as that does not harm blood pressure, or interact with BP meds, or my RA meds.  That did help short term for some of my muscle aches, as well as the sleeping issue.  I used it for about 4 days, and it did the trick for both sleeping, and aches.  But, I think I would ask your doctor first.  I ended up having to have surgery for my acid reflux about 8 years ago, as it was so bad, that the acid reflus actually ate away my "flapper" that kept things down in the stomach.  It was so bad, that when I bent over to feed our dogs, things would run up into my throat, and I could not stop it.  It was awful!  Now I have no reflux at all!  I suffered with it for years!  I had to wear this contraption for 48 hours, went down my nose, down my throat into my stomach, and it recorded every time I had a reflux.  My doctor was shocked, he said I had so many long lasting refluxes, some I had no idea I even felt.  Several of them lasted for 30 minutes...in my esphagus!!!  And I did not even feel it!!  I could not believe it!  Things were getting stuck in in there, and I could not swallow, and could not get it down, or up, felt like I could not breath!  Oh, I am so glad I don't have that anymore!!!  Give that tea a try...it really did help with the nausea!  I used soup crackers...we call them Saltines here in the U.S.  I would sit with my tea, and nibble on those daily when my tummy was so sick.  It helped!  The ginger made me feel more queasy...it shouldn't have, and I love it, but maybe the weird taste in my mouth had something to do with it.  I love gingerale, but I could not take the sugar in it...made the reflux worse.   I wish you good luck!!!
