Rubberised Dressing

Hi all just a quick post to let you know that the Rubberised Dressing really works,  and stays on in the shower, of course it was a quick in and out shower but a nice scrub down, as I was taking Scouse Baths, but then, they did say that the rubberised dressing would work, so I took the risk and was pleasently surprised.

My swelling has begun to go down too I can now see the ourline of my upper leg muscle on my now operated left side, but that ankle is still very puffy, hope it goes down soon, and it is even easier to out of bed every time I have a Kip, which lately is quite often, I have little 4hr days, then a nice lie down and I do sleep, well rested, I am convinced that sleep is the most important part of recovery, had a nice walk to the top of Sainsburys carpark to check out the view for Sundays Airshow, and I can see right down to the BigOne, from there, quite a wide field of view, will check out Wilkinsone tomorrow as I have to buy a frame there, but sure Sainsburys will get my vote.  Totsiens all and ask for that rummerised dressing if you remember you wont be sorry.

Ian.

Good morning Ian,

That is so great that you already took a shower !  and took a walk and all just a couple of days after your 2nd THR ....very inspiring ...

Do you have blood thinning medication this time too?

Make sure that you are not overdoing things now, okay ... just saying ....

Warm hug

Scouse baths?? Is that what we refer to as the 3 fs. I wasn't allowed to shower for nearly 4 weeks 2 weeks after clips coming out. Have a lovely day.

Hi its a wash down in a sink, quick and easy, quite good when you are pressed for time, I often use them if I dealing a lot of Poker say in our November Poker week when I get loads of overtime and ...to be honest the players are not the cleanist of folks, sometimes you can smell their BO, what with this silly fashion of letting you pants hanging out your ass to dry...Some blokes are so so stupid...Pull your pants up!! and they love to look so inocent, daft buggers,

I actually had a front row seat once here from our 1st floor flat to a proper wild west style punch up, 20 guys all fighting it out on our street, and one cool dude... kicked his trousers off.. It was hilarious!!!

Yes back to the posting...I do have blood thinners injections, it is the last thing I do every day, and inject myself at around 7.30pm with then.

Just off out to pick up that print and buy the frame....Chat soon Ian.

Referred to as the 3 fs. Face feet and fancy that!!!!

Hi Ian

If you are on about silicone dressings. Yep they are great. I had one on my wound when I had my total hysytorectomy. You can hardly see the scar. You can buy these dressings on places like e bay but they are very expencive. ( £30.00  for

1x 12 cm dressing )  But they really do heal you well and your wound should be a lot less visable than the other one once it is removed. Some of these dressings you can hand wash in warm water. Dry and re apply. They are a great invention.

Sleep is a great healer Ian. :-)

Wished I had had that when I first came home from the hospital, for some reason we don't have that at the hospital where i had my surgery and work. I am going to recommend we get it because traditional bandages with that awful tape that takes your skin off is awful
