running

Just a update to say I have been running over 4 mile  3 times a week with no problems. Hit 6 months since op tomorrow and it feels better than the pain I used to have before op. Anyone worrying about getting it i would say the worse part is the recovery. I was back to work in 3 months working 10 hour shifts with steel cap boots on. I feel more ache for a 10 hour shift than a 4 mile run.

Great! Must be very pleasing. When did you go for your first run? I enjoy running as well - when my feet do not hurt!

Well done, great to hear of your great results. I'm at 11 weeks since having a Scarf Akin bunion removal and reconstruction. So far so good. A few aches and slight swelling on occasions, but I'm getting there. Don't know if I'll be running 4 miles like you though? At 70 I like more less strenuous pursuits such as walking the dog or gardening these days.  Keep up the good work. LadyPink
