Rushy thoughts

Finding it hard to concentrate as thoughts seem to rush from one thing to another. Maybe it's just fatigue but the more I think about it the more I worry about it! Lol

Hi

I am 45 and I have the same problem. For the last line 4 years I just can not concentrate. I try to sort out my banking and finances. But when I sit to do it I just canโ€™t. It makes me feel like I am going mad or something. But for some funny reason the day or two before and during my periods I have a clear head and I am fine.     Must be a hormonal thing.

Hi Alison, you are not alone in this. I can totally relate to what you are saying. My thoughts are often rushing, I can sit still or relax. As for concentration... What was I saying? I literally ask that all the time! I lose my trail of thought when talking to someone. It's a pain! Once upon a time before I reached the menopause 3 years ago, I could put something in the oven and my subconscience would tell me when the food was ready and I'd turn it off. Now I have to set my alarm!!! Message me anytime honey. Donna xxx

.

Hi Donna. Glad to know I'm not the only one, prob hormones. Thought I was having a breakdown!

Hi Michelle. Thanks for getting back to me. I don't have periods cos of coil. I'm on oestrogen patches so don't know what else I can do. Glad I haven't got to study for anything lol

Hi Alison, no it's definitely hormones. This menopause business can be hell! I feel under the weather most of the time to be honest. Just a general feeling of being"under the weather. More tired, everything is a herculean effort and I'm questioning everything. Almost like taking stock of my life and berating myself for my unacheivment. Feelings of gloom and doom. If you asked me to find one positive aspect of the menopause, firstly I would have to rack my brain only to eventually come up with : I don't have periods anymore!thats all I could come up with. The worst part is the dark, depressed moods. Sorry Alison, not a very cheery post! Things can only get better - I suppose... Donna xxx

Hi Alison.i has the coil in a few yrmears ago but I had scatty periods the whole time . Very light and scatty . But every day.  No blood free day. ๐Ÿ˜ช. But I also felt it effected me badly like it caused me to anxious . But my dr told me it was all in my head. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„. But I eventually got her to take it out after about 7 months. Just couldnโ€™t be dealing with it.

Hi Michelle did you feel better once the coil was out?
