I have had anxiety since 2006 but I managed to overcome it by 2008. In 2014 it came back with a vengeance! Absolutely kicked my ass. I lost loads of weight and barely left the house. Again, I overcame it and in New Year this year it came back and kicked my ass again for 2 months.
I did find though this time, when it was bad if I went to bed and cuddled up in my quilt. A light on outside my door and an item of comfort to smell, kids clean clothes, towel, anything, it would calm down.
Does anyone else have a safe place? X
