What a lovely knee Jean. :-)
Nikki
beautiful scar, jean! you should see mine. still livid red and painful. despite massaging it twice a day with bio-oil. i will post pics so you can see. it seems long to me but perhaps just the angle? but so well healed!
What a difference! Well done, you must have worked hard to get it looking so good. If mine's that good when I have it done I'll be very pleased.
Kind regards,
Gill
One the scar closed properly I used e45 cream ...and then when completely closed I used bio oil ...and still do
I took pics at different stages
the scar is about 9 inches long
Lol I wouldn't go that far
but the scars good
Nice scar Jean.
OK ... Let's do it, let's measure our scars!
Mine is 21cms - 8.5 inches
Caz
Hubby just gave me a Mars Bar
That's better than my knee scar after 20 years!!!!!!!!
Lol...nah nah nah nah nah mines bigger than yours by half an inch ...lol
It's good isn't it
whoever did the needlework deserves a prize
Ohh mine is only 6inchs... and then the one on my shin is an inch so you both still beat me. Ha ha
Ah, yes Jean ...but do you have a Mars Bar?
They didn't go in for needlework on mine - b£**%^ staples! And then it spread after they came out so it is flat but wide. But I'm up there with you: 23cm!
Noone told you about the creams helping in those days ;-)
Sadly no.... Mars bar ...got an apple though ...lol
and I just walked up my stairs normally for the first time ...slowly and holding the rail ...but it's a start 12 stairs
It just shows ...how things change doesn't it
I just enjoyed my apple but I would have enjoyed your Mars Bar more
this healthy eating sucks ....lol
I get 5"/13cm. Mine was supposed to have been a 'minimally invasive' procedure, so I guess it was...
Whilst I realise all things are relative - by "minimally invasive" I understand keyhole surgery not a 5in cut!!!!! Though how you could do a TKR by keyhole surgery is beyond me!!!
I too can't understand that ...it would be impossible to do a TKR that way I think the minimal surgery is probably just for investigation
but that's only my opinion
