Im due to start sertraline tomorrow. They're starting me on 15mg I believe.
All I've found online is horror stories about the first few weeks. My sister in law is a pharmacist and told me that the vast majority of people don't experience any side effects at all. She told me not to worry.
Anybody here have no side effects? Is it really possible I won't have any. I have 3 babies under the age of 3 and am living abroad. I'm terrified of how I'll cope if it's as terrible as people are describing.

Everyone reacts differently friend, I could sit here and tell you you won't get any which is probably what you want to hear but sadly I won't lie, I had intense side effects but I started on 50mg so yours may be less, but just be prepared for if you do feel crap, but unfortunately it's what has to be endured if you want to feel better

Hi Dolly, your only likely to read horror stories about side effects as its our nature not to mention something we don't experience.
Im on Venlafaxine and did not experience any side effects, I didn't experience any for any of the other anti depressants I've been on.
