SCARED HELP

Hi everyone had a terrible day had the biggest panic attack today convinced I was going to die went to doctors seen a nurse my heartbeat was irregular so got sent to hospital had an ecg and doctor checked my heartbeat and pulse when I had calmed down and he said I was fine and he sent me away with some vallium diazipam my chest is very tight now even though I don't feel paniky it's been on and of tight since my panik attack stopped hours ago is this familiar with anyone I'm scared

very normal for panic attacks. just try to reassure yourself you're okay

I'm not paniking though I had a huge one earlier should the pains still be here? The doctor said my heart is fine

the effects of a panic attack still are around even after a panic attack ends i was told at the e.r

Most panic attacks will make u tired , tight chest and no doubt a pain in your chest yes it's sh*t and horrible I've had it since 20 I'm now 35 I had a few good years of nothing but am back to square 1 at the minute

yeah back awhile I got my parents to drive me to hospital.I still remember it like yesterday.17 yrs ago.I felt uneasy for quite awhile afterwards . also didnt know how to deal with the fact that everything checked out fine.I mean how could it.Felt like I was going to die.so after that I learned that I would try breathing, putting on headphones with music or old familiar movies seemed to calm me.

It's just so awful and unbelievable that all that terrifying experience can mean just anxiety

I know,Right eh.I skipped school and struggled to graduate ,then quit university because I thought I was gonna die.All worn out. Couldnt sit in class.Avoid all public.The part I dont get is getting an ecg and my heart like skipping or whatever  during the test and the results are fine.I got it under control by learning to belly breathe,like a baby does.also did often during the day.especially when I changed environment or rooms, or simply when watching tv.that way when panic would start I was familiar or conditioned to relax at wil.soon when I went to store I would take a few belly breaths when I entered.And when I walked around ,no one can notice .I cant believe now that after all these years I give sessions in this technique in front of groups.
