Hi,
I’ve suffered from health anxiety pretty much all my life. I’m 21 year old male. I’ve been feeling pretty sick (flu like) for the past week. A few days ago, I pressed around my upper left inner thigh groin area and felt a small little lump.
I decided to have it checked out today at a walk in clinic. Doctor agreed it’s a hard swollen lymph node in my groin area but she said to see how it is in two weeks. I’m very worried about possibly having lymphoma. Does anyone have any ideas what else this could be?

does it move ? i have one small bump too in the same area and it’s been there for a while but i’m too scared to get it checked out
It probably is just a swollen lymph node from the flu . My father had lymphoma and did not had a visible swollen lymph node, instead he had anemia, night sweats , Lost a lot of weigh rapidly and was very ichy and Yellow . So if you have any of this simptoms you should get it tested but i wouldnt worry too much.
Yea I guess I’m just nervous because it’s round, hard, and painless. Hopefully it goes down because it’s making my health anxiety worse
It sort of moves, but I can’t really tell if it’s just moving with skin.
