hello i have been diagnosed with a certain thing id rather not discuss but i take citalopram (celexa) and i was told to take azithromycin … now the issue with that is azithromycin isnt supposed to be taken with citalopram due to possible heart rythm imbalance… so me beimg a hypochondriac, im worried something bad is going to happen . im jist looking for something to clear my head and positive feed back or maybe some experience. (btw i took the dose 4 hours ago but im still worried )
I would ask a pharmacist,they seem to know more about meds than doctors. I also would call the doctors nurse to ask about an interaction. Doctors make mistakes too.
