hi everyone im terrified of strokes or tia. two weeks ago i had numbenss in my arm.. i went to hospital and did blood test and ecg and ultrasound all cane back clear. today i had a weird feeling in my face and a heavy feeling in my head. im 28. and always have been healthy but always suffered anxiety. could a blood test show a stroke or have doctors missed something. should i be worried . need someone to talk to 😪
Rachel there’s nothing to be concerned about. you have classic symptoms of anxiety. The testing and doctors did not miss anything. And yes, the testing would have shown that something was off if it was serious. There’s no reason at your age to have a stroke or a TIA.
numbness, weird feeling in face and heavy feeling in your head can all be related to stress and anxiety . i’ve had all of those when I was in my 20s. They came mostly when I had anxiety which was most of the time. Anxiety symptoms can’t feel weird and scary but they are not harmful. So please forget about any serious diagnosis. also the more you worry the more those symptoms are going to hang around! Trust me I’ve been through this for many years. So get on with your life and enjoy it. If you need help with your anxiety you can speak with a counselor. Other than that eat healthy, don’t take life so seriously, and enjoy each day! Life’s too short to be worrying which does absolutely no good.
