Just had letter after my kidney scan to say it's clear but have found 5cm cyst on ovaries. I'm really panicking and scared someone help.
Please do not panic about cyst on ovary. I had them my whole life every other month 8 would grow one. One got as big as a lemon at one point and then it must have burst.
These are common especially when ovulating.
Always good to talk to your dr, but rest assured mist women get them all the time and don't even know it.
Dont worry unecessarily...My two friedns both have had cysts removed from ovaries; one of them twice..Its super common..
If worst comes to worsts, ovaries can be removed..but I think you have nothing to worry about...
Thankyou I always fear the worst doc doesn't seem to be worried too much as had taken them a month to send letter. Surley if they were worried would have sent it out much sooner and now have to wait on app xx
Exactly......Stay centered and calm....It'll be fine..
I think thats what it says it is my love a cyst im sure if it was something sinister they would have you in straight away. when I had my smear in 2008 I had the letter on the friday and i was called in on the following tues I had cin4 cancerous cells. they were lasered out and ive had no further problems hope this helps
I hopes sue xx
Do you have pcos?
No not that I know of x
I'm still freaking out everything I read as usual point to being something sinister as it's 5 cm. Never had any pain before but now I feel it's aching. Is it just a cyst or something worse and if it's only 5 cm does that mean it's been caught early....... HELP
Carole as I mentioned I got them all the time one time I had one the size of a lemon and yes it ached and hurt. Quit looking on Google.
A cyst is not cancer.
Oh I know I'm being silly but I worry about everything it's just the kind of person I am. I'm always scared something bad going to happen to me and I won't get to see my kids one who suffers from terrible anxiety and depression at only 13 if anything was to happen how would she cope x
Yep, I was told I had a hugh one on my ovary too. Went back in 2 weeks all gone. Very common. Most of the time they take care of themself's
