Scarring on penile raphe

I have severe scarring on the shaft of my penis. It started with a smaller scar that appeared several years ago and has only grown since then. I believe the scar gets damaged during masturbation and grows more as it recovers. This has caused then skin on my penis to pulled over to one side and stretch my foreskin as well. It’s most noticeable during erection (warning).




I have tried various eczema and moisturizer creams to no avail. The most recent dermatologist I went to prescribed me 2.5% hydrocortisone cream. I haven’t seen any results yet, but I only recently started using it as frequently as recommended.

If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update. In the meantime, I just want to see if anyone has any idea what might be causing this and what other options I might have?

This does look kind of weird. have you seen a Urologist for another opinion of what is going on for your penis?
I use a steroid ointment very regularly and to get any benefit from it you must use it as directed and make sure that it is well rubbed into the affected skin area, otherwise you may gain no benefit. So with the hydrocortisone you are using you need to give it at least 2 or 3 months of using it correctly before you may even start to see any difference …
