Im 33 years old and for over 2 years and half years now, I have been experiencing horrible back pain, I had an injury at work whilst lifting a slab, when I first did it, my
back went into a huge spasm and couldn't move, worse pain I had ever felt, I went to my gp and was given painkillers and muscle relaxants, I kept on going back to gp as pain wasn't going away, 6 months! ! after the accident I finally got to see a spinal specialist, I had an mri scan and was given first
lot of physiotherapy, the scan show disc bulge on L2 and L3, anyway I
finished my physiotherapy and was discharged by specialist, I was told
my back will gradually improve, did it? No it got worse, I started experiencing, numbness in my left outa thigh, and shouting pains into my foot, so
again I was given another lot of physio and told the same thing, things will get better but u may have permanent nerve damage, then on 30th September 2014, I was putting my socks on and back went into a painful spasm , I
was unable to move, got toilet etc, this lasted all day, a few days later I
managed toget an appointment with my gp, he was sympathetic, he just
gave me more NAPROXEN and AMITRIPTYLINE. Ive had so many medicals now and taken so many painkillers and nerve killers, and 3 lots of physio and still my back feels very weak, the nerve pain keeps me awake at night, ive out of work since April 2012. I don't know what to do anymore, luckily I started an accountancy course at start of September, but even sitting or
standing for periods of time causes even more pain.
Has anybody else witnessed anything similar
