My throat feels scratchy kind of a burning feeling my nose is itchy and dry in the outside of my nostrils and I sneeze or I feel like im not able to sneeze but my nose isnt stuffy. Im worried because Ive been obsessed with the thought that ive got Hiv/aids or an oral std.. Took a urine test came out negative for gonhorrea, chalymdia about 2 weeks ago & my blood results came out good but Im scared bc what if Ive got Aids and they missed it ? ..
Did you have a test for HIV? If so, you can trust the results. HIV always shows up if it's there.
You are overthinking this. Sounds like seasonal allergies to me.
Im honestly not sure what my doctor checked for I just got 4 tubes of blood drawn, went back for results and got told everything is normal

did your dr advise after the tests for Aids/hiv to go back in six months? This is normally the case with these test at the point of testing there may not be any evidence of these so the six month thing is to make sure it was complety negative. Now I’m trying to worry you .it I myself have had the AIDS and HIV test three times.. I was a addict and each time I had to go back after the six months.. As I’ve said.
Now are circumstances are much different I know!!
please check this out for yourself. Every time my first one came back clear so did the (follow up) ones!
I was very assured on the first bloods and knew I didn’t have it it was the right thing to do in my circumstances.
Call your dr ask what test you’ve had.. then you will know, if you call the receptionist they can tell you as they were found to be normal.
Please call your dr about health anxiety you have worried so much about illnesses and losing weight ect, it’s common and I’ve had it in the past.
Take notice of the professionals my dear what they say hey.
Have you tried citrazine for your symptoms do you have allergies at all.
My boyfriend nose has been itching and running like a tap and simple house dust can set things off.
Try to stay calm, trust in the drs and ask for a little more help if you need it.

Thank you Vicky ive got a follow up this coming Monday dont know why but I remember I last took a urine test 2 weeks ago I didnt get a call from the lab so Im assuming hopefully everything is normal with that I got perscribed benadryl so I can sleep good but havent took not even one as im scared of side effects, I do not know if my doc tested me for hiv/aids
You haven't got AIDS, Stacey. You've been tested!!
You have probably got hayfever, though, so ask your pharmacist to recommend a spray to use until the symptoms are under control.
I dont know if my doctor tested me for aids all I remember is the lab drew 4 tubes of blood went for results & got told my results are normal, But I got perscribed 25mg benadryl so I can sleep its also an allergy medicine but im scared to take it
Hey again! I see ya were tested and results were good. Trust me, they usually test more things than you ask for so I can guarrantee you don't have any of these things. There is so much negativity towards doctors these days but we have to learn to trust that they are honest. That's the only way to move forward. And in regards to the benadryl, i had the same worries but all it does is calm your nerves, worst side effect is feeling drowsy which is the main purpose lol. I wish the best for you.
