So the past couple months, ive had this little pimple looking like bump on my shaft which didnt hurt me and didnt do anything besides annoy me when i looked at it and i was going to bring it up to my physician the next time i saw her. here is what it looked like:

Fast forward to last week and i saw it that it might have popped and saw there was some yellow stuff coming out so i squeezed everything out that i could and removed the puss and this black scab like thing (wasnt aware this was a mistake and could get infected at the time). after i did so it looked like this:

Since then a scab formed over the wound and i let it heal and the scab came off on its own and now looks like this today:

I'm unsure what to do at this point. I dont know if this will grow back to its original form etc. it doesnt hurt or anything its still just there and i notice it and i want it gone. im nervous to tell my parents about this. what do you think i should do? try and see urologist or my primary healthcare provider. i can also go to an urgent care center around here and see what they think. any advice will help thanks
i have this too, but Im a little worried because the veins under it is becoming more red and its starting to hurt for the last two to three days now, when I have had it for over three months.
What this sounds most like is an ingrown hair follicle - and this is what the images would suggest too.
Ingrown hairs are really common - although it has healed it may eventually develop as it was again in the first photo.
This is because the hair is still in the wrong place and will continue to grow under the skin instead of how it would normally develop. Essentially, what you saw as a black scab is the hair in the wrong place under your skin - if it becomes re-infected and swells again, do as you did before but this time you need to get the hair pointing out of the skin as it should be, or it simply may come out all together.
You can ONLY do this with a fully sterilised needle or pin - then use LIQUID antiseptic to treat the infection until the wound is completely healed again.
And no, this is not something you should need to go to an urgent treatment centre with
