Today im starting another outbreak and it was a month ago/3 weeks since the last one. Its just a cluster of bumps thats really itchy . Nothing crazy, if amything, its really not that serious to me buttt i want to call my dr and get a perscription for some anti virals and maybe lysine n a vitamin???
You should really call your doctor so they can take a look at the bumps, make a diagnosis, and give you the right prescriptions based on their findings so you can get the earliest treatment as possible. I don’t mean to scare you or anything but a cluster of bumps can mean a lot of things, yes it’s mostly not serious, but if it’s itchy and shows up from time to time down there then you should really have it looked at just to be sure. A doctor cannot give you a prescription until they swab the bumps or test you for herpes via blood.
i was diagnosed with hsv 2! a few weeks back. when i took the valtrex it made life alot easier but I KINDA WANT TO do something about my immune system
