Iv just been diagnosed copd
I'm already using seritide and ventolin my dr added Seebri and I'm on my second day
Has anyone had any experience with Seebri ?

My husband was put on Seebri beginning of the year. He tried it for a couple of months. He felt ok in himself during the day, perhaps an improvement on his previous medication, Foradil, but at night while sleeping he had like restless legs symptoms, but sort of jumping. Cannot explain, like when you jump in your sleep. I don't think he noticed so much, at first, but I did. After a few weeks of it he stopped it. I think that added to the fact that he had to buy it about €48 a month (£40 sterling or so) annoyed him a lot. Is it given on prescription where you're from, I mean free? Quite a bit of money for a pensioner to dish out really. But the fact that he was restless which at times kept him awake, made him change his mind mainly.

Yes Seebri is on prescription here in Australia I got it from a cheap chemist for $6.00
I'm hoping it helps I've been feeling bad for a while but the dr kept putting it down to anxiety I'm 32
Copd was sighted on ct scan just waiting on pft results but was told they are not to flash
Give it some time Sarah. It might be ok for you. Maybe it affected my husband so because of his age. He had been a smoker all his life when he was diagnosed in 2009. It took him 2 years to completely stop smoking and be rid of the craving. But one thing that has been really good for him was the rehabilitation programme. It taught him how to look after himself, make the best of things and live with it. Do ask for it next time you see your doctor or pulminory nurse.
Does this type of inhaler take a while to notice any difference?

Sorry just noticed your reply. Well as I said he used it for two months when he realized where the symptoms came from. As an inhaler he found it quite good, an improvement on the previous medication, but the symptoms were annoying him. Good luck to you also. Perhaps you will let us now how you're faring in time, with Seebri?
