seem to be falling back after good spell

I'm on week 13 at 50mg, things have been good, no problems, really moved on. This week though I've been having disturbed sleep, feeling very tired when I waken, mood seems lower. I've been hitting bed earlier to try and combat tired feeling. I had anxiety which has gone and low mood which has returned. Any help or thoughts from others who've had similar.

Im on same 13 week i cudnt get the dosage right to suit me im on 75 at the mo but same as u had a brill week and last few days been crap :-/ even some of my physical symptoms have returned x

Hello mate I was on sert for 10 weeks I felt the same yo I upped my dose to 75 then 100 . after 10 weeks I gave up with them and come off went on citrapram. And they have been a life saver. Some meds Dont suite every one. So change after 8 to 10 weeks of they doing no good. What you got to lose. Good luck .

The most important thing you must do is tell your self you are not all one and you feel fantastic over and over

If you don't you will brain wash you yourself feeling low because you will say I don't I can't

Yip I keep telling myself I'm good, remember how good the past weeks have been, be positive, keep looking on the bright side, that I can ride this out.

I'm very up and down 7weeks 50mg 2weeks 75 and one at 100mg. Spaced out, headaches, sooooo sleepy, heavy head and eyes , disconnected from everything and everyone its so hard.

I've just been prescribed Sert again after 9 months of being off them. I haven't started them yet, not sure I want to. But the first time I was prescribed them, I was put on 25mg, then 50mg, then 75mg, then 100mg. It went up and up every two weeks. This is simply because your body adjusts to the dose, and it's not enough to combat all the symptoms of the mental health issues. Are you combining your medication with any therapy or counselling? Low moods can't always be fixed by altering chemicals alone.

Marley is right!! I went to see hypnosis it was brill made me see things differently.

Been to a CRUSE counsellor which was very good, my wife died 15 months ago and it really helped me but things were going so much better til I got my new prescription which was from a different manufacturer. I've read so many people having similar issues when getting same meds but from different source. Something to do with the fillers used.

Hang in there Robert. Recovery is hardly ever a linear journey without its ups and downs. I'm glad the anxiety is much better. Four months on Sertraline has done little to lift my mood and the daily mental battle to find a sense of achievement and self-worth is often hard-fought. You have come a long way and this is just a pause, not a setback, in your journey. Accept it for what it is and prepare to move on again when your are ready. I hope you have positive things in your life to lift and inspire you :-)

Good luck! Digsby
