I had a rather bad fall on the 8th Dec 25. Eventually called the ambulance who were great and decided that there was no cause to worry. Jan 26 I went for an Xray where it showed a broken femur. I was told to go in to A&E straight away where I was told it had half healed and to wait for a Fracture/Trauma clinic appt. All this time I have been walking on it initially with a stick but now no problem. I am in no pain and can go up and down stairs with no problem. The only issue is my walking as I am waddling like a duck as apparently the one leg is a bit shorter!! I really don’t want an operation for various reasons. What is the likelihood that they will leave me be? Appt is next Month
