ive been on sentaline now for 9 day not had many side affects from them but today ive been had a few bad panic attacks and crying alot, fel like iam in a tunnel and carnt see away out has anyone else had this feeling , or should i go back and see my doctor xx
I'm on week 14...I had a v rough ride in the early days too. I would say a lot of ppl on sertraline have sadly had heightened anxiety during the first month or so but even so, only u can decide whether to sit it out or return to yr gp. Best wishes xx
Hi nicola,It's still far to early to feel the effects of sertaline, you need to give it at least a month to fully kick in.sertaline can bring on higher levels of anxiety in the first few weeks, this will settle down over time.
I have been to that place many times, that dark and hopeless feeling.There is away out, you need to try and stay strong and give the meds time.it's good you've not had many side effects, it could just be your underlying condition that your experiencing and not the sertaline.
