Serious question help please?

I am on my increased dose of Celexa three weeks now!I have just now last two days had huge non stop crying spells that I can't control!I also had a panic attack yesterday and was the first time I had one since starting this med in July!Is there anyone who has done dose increases who can tell me if they experienced this, this far into increase, three weeks! My doc has been no help and said its not the med!I wasn't doing this before! Can this still adjust three weeks into an increased dose and can I still feel better or is this the wrong med!I feel pretty helpless as of now and don't know if I should just throw in the towel so to speak, but I have four kiddo, who need me

Don't you have diazapam from your doctor...for those rough moments...

I do have lorazepam but trying not to take them!Havent had these crying spells whole time on med till now!I am feeling like I won't recover and this is it for me now!I don't understand I have been on this dose three weeks it should not be because of increase. This drug worked for me in the past but I guess no luck now!

Don't suffered split the lorazepam in half..

What if this med isn't working for me though?

It takes longer than three weeks .I know you started with higher dose...but don't suffered and take your lorazepam .

My doctor told me that every time you up your dose its like readjusting all over again. I upped my dose from 20 to 30 and it took me about 6 weeks to feel better again.

Stick with it.. a few months of hell for a lot of good. I feel so much better now its totally different.

Think of it like youre drinking one glass of wine every day - after a while you mightnt even feel the effects anymore - if you start drinking two glasses of wine every day you will feel it much more and take the same amount of time to get used to that. Be easy on yourself. Indulge in relaxation and drink plenty of water/get lots of sleep.

It is the meds. Trust the process.. at least for a little longer..

If youre not better by January maybe reassess.. I know thats so scary but it can take that long for some. Me included.

Thank you so much!Would you say you were pretty bad.Did you think you won't recover etc?My therapist said just keep swallowing that pill every day and take it day to day.She had been through it herself which helps.

Don't stress about taking Lorazipam. I took Diazepam for the first couple of weeks to get me through the rough days. You don't need to suffer this much and don't be too proud. Do what you need to do to get you over this hill.  It will get better. Mark x
