Sertaline 100mg and not being able to sleep!

Im been on sertraline 100mg for about 4 weeks now and my anxiety is still bad I have been using zopiclon when needed at night but i used to be able to sleep really well on 50mg and could nap in the day I cannot even settle to do that at the moment and I love my sleep! 😟

Help please

Did u feel any relief in your anxiety at 50 mg?

Yes I did but it came back thats why I have been put up to 100mg i went back to the doctors last week and he gave me propranolol 10mg to take when needed as its too soon to put my dosage up! Plus im not sure I want to!

Maybe try 75mg?

I feel like that too on 50mg in my third week. I just feel totally exhausted but too wired to rest. I've been told it will settle but could take a while. I'm also on zopiclone and I've resorted to half a tablet every night.

I called my pharmacy since I've been having trouble sleeping. He suggested splitting the dose half at night and half in the morning until the insomnia passes. I've done that for two nights in a row and so far it's helped.

Did you find it affected your sleep!

I feel my heart racing in the evening. I don't think I could sleep without a pill but I'm wondering if I'd be better with some sort of anxiety medication at night instead...

Yes you might be if my anxiety is playing me up still I will go back to the doctors!
