I'm currently taking 100mg of sertaline I feel weak and every thing seems a big effort by the time it's afternoon. Some mornings It takes me all my energy to get dressed. I live been out and about but it's a massive effort. I have no friends but a boyfriend I see at weekends. I feel so lonely. My body aches. The strange thing is although I'm ill and at watts end I'm also my happiest i'v ever been so far i'v lost almost 11 stone through having a gastric bypass. I have a fantastic holiday booked. Am I bipola???
Do you take it at night? Maybe go down to 75mg? Talk to your doc.
Hey Nat. Sertraline made me feel drowsy when i went up to the max dose of 200mg. GP's can only prescribe a maximum of 200mg. Psychiatrists can prescribe 250mg. It's really good you lost 11 stone, as i'm sure you know being over weight can cause depression. I'm 3 & 1/2 stone over weight myself. I really need to do some exercise, but suffering from Anxiety, going to the swimming pool prevents that. I'm not a Doctor, but in my opinion i would say your not bipolar. Who knows? But you sound a lot like me. Extremely hard to motivate myself to do anything...much easier to just sit on my sofa under a fan in this brutal summer (crazy Germans hate air-conditioning) with my ipad and goof off.
