What a roller coaster this is. Been on 25 mg for two weeks and been gradually working up to 50
Last night I took my first 50 and took me ages to get to sleep and was very anxious. Today I have a really upset tummy and so anxious this morning. Is this normal when moving to 50 and when will I start to feel better?

Normal. Give yourself about a week for tummy issues to ease up. However, if you see that more than 3 days passed and your sleep remains disturbed I would discuss with doctor about taking the dose at noon or morning instead. Always with food to give your tummy a bit of buffer.

In fact i think that with most medication in this class it is better to take morning or noon as they do tend to mess up sleep pattern or ability to fall asleep at the beginning. The nausea is unavoidable as ar some headaches but this is less of a concern and will pass quickly enough. Rest you NEED. See what your doc says.
Thanks all. Just really struggling today. I had a bath and took 2mg of diazipam as the anxiety was just so bad. I guess it's early day as this is nearly three weeks but only day 2 of 50 mgs.
