Im currently on sertraline but after 5 weeks its not working and im at my lowest. Doc has now prescribed me with venlafaxine 37.5 twice a day. Please tell me there are minimal side affects.

I have been taking venlafaxin 75mg for about 4months now and I can honestly say that they are working brilliantly for me, Very few side effects "and they are minimal", So dont worry. good luck.
Thats such a relief, im so nervous about taking them. Do they make you sleepy? As i take zolpidem at night.
I've been taking venlafaxine for several years at different dose levels (225mg at present) and it has worked for me. I've not noticed it making me sleepy, although I take mirtazapine too and that does help me to sleep at night.
Hello. I have been on Sertraline and then went onto 150mg Effexor daily. It took away my depression and anxiety pretty much. side effects vary from person to person. What oner may get another will not, so difficult to say what side effects you will get.
How long have you been taking the Venlafaxine? Are you getting any side effects?
