Not sure how to answer your question, but I hope you find some peace soon. I think sometimes hormones play mean tricks on us. That was the case for me. Thought I needed mood meds, but didn't like the side effects so I toughed it out and it has mostly passed. Good luck to you.

What dosage are you on? I've been on Sertraline for a few years now and had to up my dosage a couple of times.

You are on the same dosage as me. Have you been on that dosage long? Are you under an extraordinary amount of stress at the moment? I find that's the case with me and the cracks are starting to show a bit. If you are happy with sertraline generally then you can always up the dosage more. I think the maximum is 200mg.
Also keeping your mind occupied I find helps me a lot. Sorry if I haven't been very helpful here.
