Sertraline 17th weeks

Hi everyone

Been on sertraline 17 weeks now 5 weeks on 50mg 4 weeks on 100mg dose was to high went to 75 mg for just over 2 weeks then back to 100mg last week was a bad week anxitey and very low mood woke up this morning couldn't get out of Bed very weak and felt depressed like I had a hangover but I didn't drink surely this sould have worked by now has anyone been on it that long with no joy ?

I have just upped my to 100mg, but was told that it would take at least two weeks to help. Just keep going, give it a bit long and if don't improve then go back to your Dr. I Hope you get the results you want very soon.

Is that working for u I am on 100 mg of Zoloft and 1 mg of klopin and I still get the fast heart beats just wanted to see how its working for u... Thanks

It's been 6 weeks on 100mg now I think this med is no good for me don't know what to do

i am beginning to think the same.  Had a bad day yesterday and today.  Getting quite concern about my appetite.  How's yours.  Going to speak with my dr on Monday.

Appetite not to bad it's the low mood and anxitey it's getting me down now

hello don,  ive been weaning off sertraline because i wasnt getting any better and due to start citalopram tomorrow, will let you know how i get on

hi there don i can totaly realte to you my gp just started me on 50mg of setraline a week ago and by mistake i took 2 X50mg on friday afternnon i was realy suffering bad anxiety so i took them and i cudnt get out of bed eaither with the most voilent head pain and body pain like i had been run ove r bye a train i had the paramedics out who said sound like your tb facial pain and tooth pain but after they ;left i put it down to the setraline i also felt so low low in mood like i wanted to die ive laid of them now never again id reather suffer than have to go throught that again good luck with them if your sticking to them mate david

lay off them don i would they made me suicidal good luck keep me informed matey

Hi i was on sertraline for about 2 months, i had to wean off by taking one every other day for a week then started the citalopram yesterday. i feel awful though, couldnt get to sleep last night then woke at twenty past 4. my anxiety is bad

Sorry to here that your not doing so well has the gp given u anything to help u though the start up period?

only 7 diazepam 2mg. ive had enough now. how are you today?

Woke up this morning felt like I had a big hangover feel a bit better as the day goes on still can't get my head round this med don't think it's for me 1st day down to 50mg so let's see finding it hard to go to work though but battling trough it how are u ?

Hi Don, im on day 6 of the citalopram, still feel like depressed, im just hoping its the making you feel worse before they make you better scenario, its early days but if ive got no improvement in 4 weeks i might be stopping these too. i need to get back to work as im off sick at the moment. hope you are well.
