Hi i started taking sertraline 50mg nearly 6 weeks ago and have tolerated the side effwcts ok . Although the night sweats are awful. Regarding my low mood i dont feel any different, is this normal ? I had hoped to be feeling abit better by now. I saw my dr after 2 weeks who just said to carryon taking them. Any advice welcome
It takes a while to get into your system hun x I’m 2 years on them now and don’t think I will ever come off them ! I’m back to a “normal “ person what ever normal is xx keep going and you will get there x
Hi Rose, time is what it takes. Usually it takes anywhere from 6to8 weeks for most people, but others may take longer. I was one who took longer. I am on week 17 and the improvement is great. Dont get me wrong there are times when I'm really stressed out that i still get anxiety but I'm on 50 . I am upping it next month to 75. But I'll do what ever it takes to feel like myself again. Hang in there.😎
