sertraline had itchy skin after 5weeks

hi on my 9th week of sertaline and since week 5 I've had itchy skin and red spots on my body anyone else had anything similar ?

you may have a reaction to the med see your doc, it may not suit you

Oh wow Steve I have this but never thought it was the meds until I read this. I bought pine tar soap which helped a lot . I also try to moisturize a lot more which helps ..

hi Seve,

had the same and found that an allegy relief an OTC hayfever and allergy relief med such as Loratidine solved the problem.  if you have never taken these check with the doc.

Hi Steve,

Sorry I have not experienced this and have taken Sertraline for years. Perhaps asking your doctor is best because if you are allergic to it, then you could end up in a serious position.

I hope you get to the bottom of this and am glad you posted so we can all learn.

did you read your leaflet on side effect   and allergic reaction .  ONE med EFFEXOR at 300mg made my hair fall out. and my sight so sensitive to light i wore sunglass.s in the house , i would show you a photo but this forum has no upload
