Hi, I have suffered with Anxiety and Depression most of my adult life. After a traumatic event I sank so low that I was prescribed Sertraline 50mg. After a few weeks I began to feel better and looking at the world in a more positive light. 2 and a half months on and I have slipped back into a depreressive and anxious state again. I am waking up overwhelmingly anxious with server butterflies and adrenaline. On top of this I feel so down I want to cry constantly. Yesterday I was increased on my Sertraline dose to 100mg. Does anyone know if I will get the side effects back from the increase ? And if anyone knows why it is possible to sink so far back into depression whilst taking meds ? Hello I'm on the same tablets . Started at 50mg and I had good days and bad . I went back to the doctors and they up my dose over a few months . I'm now on 200mg and I feel a lot better . I lost my baby he was stillborn :-( so since I've been suffering with depression and health anxiety . If you feel like they not helping up the dose.I hope this helps and you start feeling better soon .

Iv been upped to 100mg 2weeks ago and still bad . 50mg worked for a bit . its hell I feel so down and ratty

Now three weeks on 100mg and anxiety is lower but I'm sluggish and dazed like I never really wake up I want me back before I totally forget who I am/was x
