After suffering health aniexty for over a year and a half now and been so scared to take sertraline i finally plucked up the courage to take them. Then I later come across a news artical of how they have been 2 sudden deaths (cardiac arrest) leading to sertraline and it’s got me totally freaking out. Been on them 9 days and feel like stopping them. My heart rate seems very slow atm and it’s making me fret incase it just stops 
Can this happen?

im taking it a low dose and i also read they give this meds to ppl that has had heart problems . maybe the ppl were taking other meds or herbal supplements . you cant take St. Johns wort with any antidepresants and other herbs.
Im very careful what I take with it.
I’ve heard both but my Dr says it’s fine. like don’t take a huge dose. see if it helps you, if not, try something else. Don’t let it freak you out. if it was that dangerous it would be off the market!!
