Switched from 100mg sertraline after being on 4 weeks...to 20mg Citalopram 20mg. Feeling ok..maybe better..soo not sure.. Any positive feedback? Every time the sertraline was upped.. It worked for a short period then would just stop.. Praying this will be the one that helps.
Hello, citalopram is generally regarded as the best ssri, though not for everyone. I've been on it for 13 weeks, but made me too anxious, so currently switching to a snri, venlafaxine. Unfortunately it's a bit of a lottery. Citalopram is very well regarded generally though.
It takes way longer than 4 weeks for any ssris to stabilize in your brain...so it's a long ride like in months not weeks....if you wait longer than four weeks on the celexa it will work...
