Hi has anyone tapered off sertraline? Has anyone experience withdrawal??
Well it’s been about 2 months since my last pill after tapering off of 75mg I didn’t really feel the withdrawal till maybe 2 or 3 weeks later. Need help I just wanna know how long it last?!

Half out of body in: 26 hours
99% out of body in: 5.4 days
So for the medicine to be completely out of your system, we're talking close to a week, any withdrawal symptoms will appear after that about 75% of the time, symptoms include some of Zoloft side effects when you first started taking the medicine. Mine was mostly anxiety for about a week, but whatever you have it will also go away, some people took them 2-month. Keep this in mind....It will go away as your brain will adjust to its precious state.
Thanks dan I been waiting so long for some one to answer. I still get a little brain zaps now and then, but what is bothering me is it feels like butterflies are in my chest and stomach it’s been 3 weeks since I felt this way. About a week ago I went back to my doctor and he said it not the withdrawal you should be over that already. So he said let’s try and go back on it and decided to put me on lexapro??!! But i never took one pill yet as I’m hoping that this is just withdrawal because I don’t get any anxiety attacks at all I just have this funny feeling in me. But thanks again for your response
