I'm on 100mg sertraline over a week now was on 50 but soon stop working as my shakes and depression got worse. how long do the side facts last for?? as i can't sleep at all bad headaches eatting crap food

With any brain altering drugs the side effects come in all different shapes and sizes at different times. I've been on 50mg for 3 weeks after being on 25mg for 1. Dosage increase can bring along side effects associated with starting the drug for the first time. It can take 4-6 weeks for the drug to stabilise within your system. As you progress they will begin to diminish and I promise you that you will notice a difference. If you are really worried I would advise you to call your GP. I have on multiple occasions and they have assured me that I will feel better over time and low and behold they are right. Stay with it, honestly it will really help. Just because your depression got worse does not mean these drugs aren't working. Matter of fact, it shoes they are working. A common side effect of anti-anxiety/depressants is that your depression or anxiety gets worse before it gets better
Hi Clarkey118 thanks for your comment. Hope your well Did you suffer with any pains in the neck or hands been on the 100mg?. I've got pains in my right side from neck to fingers no grip at all The 50mg was great no side facts but but the 100 has but was having trouble with grip before got diagnosed with these tablets had to come of 50mg as wasn't working for me later on did for the first two weeks.
