I have read many posts about Setraline and the inability to climax. I am a 55 year old man and I have always had a huge sex drive with no difficulty finishing. Actually that is a lie in 2008 Dr put me on Citlapram that completely messed everything up and I so stopped it and all returned.
I have been on an initial dose of 50mg a day with ok erections but difficulty climaxing then I upped last week to 100mg and now the urge is non existant.
The burning question is will this pass and when my body adjusts allow me to have a healthy sex life again or do I pack up now.
For 5 years I had been managing anxiety and depression with 4 x co codamol pills a day which I thought was great and clever but one day I thought this isnt clever at all and stopped. Took two weeks of cold turkey but Ill never go back on them again and hoped Setraline would be the legal replacement.
I cannot contemplate life without a healthy fantastic sex life with my wife so what is the answer. I dont really fancy supplements.
