Hi, I was on Venlafaxine for 2 years and have been drug free for nearly a year. I had to go back to my doctor recently though and he has put me on setraline. Does anyone have experience of taking this ante depressant and the side effects.
I was on Sertraline before I was on Effexor. I am sorry your depression has come back. I had no side effects with Sertraline.
Many thanks for your reply. I have been on sertraline for 5 days and have had no effects yet. How long was it before you felt them helping? I start 100mg in 2 days time.
I expect you know that anti depressants take about 6 weeks to have any effect. It is a long time since I was on Sertraline , but I reckon it must have been about 6 weeks, as all anti depressants usually take that long. Your dose has been upped quite quickly, so perhaps you will feel better soon. Take care. Let me know how you get on.
