in June I had a rectocele and vaginal vault op. All went very well and I recovered brilliantly. However, for the past couple of weeks I have been sore just inside my vagina and on a few occasions have noticed small amount of blood. I suffer quite regularly from thrush and had a bout of that over Christmas. It now feels like a sore patch which almost burns now and then. Anyone else had similar please?
Jools, I really have no idea what this might be - loads of different things come to mind but I'd always say that bleeding needs to be checked, so I would ask your GP. Alternatively, you may be able to ask yor surgeon (via their secretary) and they might offer advice, but I suspect they might tell you to see your GP anyway. Hope you get sorted quickly:-)
You can get vaginal sores caused by thrush. See your GP Jools
Thank you for prompt reply. It is only a teeny amount of blood but I need it sorted. I read your reply and rang Doctor - appointment next Monday!
Sure its not anything much as symptoms slight but annoying! Have made Dr appointment to get it checked. Thanks for your reply.
