Can herepes effect ur back...I've always had back problems but not this bad...shooting pains in my hips...down my legs...Dr gave me an MRI n said nothing was wrong....when I sit after like 5 min it's terrible shooting pains all threw my hips n legs....
It could be herpes. I’ve had it nearly 2 years now and been on suppressive therapy for nearly a year which has worked great in stopping my outbreaks but the never pain is so painful. I didn’t relate the two at first until I started to look online and found lots of forums where mainly women were complaining of nerve pain on the left side down the left leg and buttock. This is exactly the same as mine, nothing gets rid of the pain so I definitely think the two are related. My doctor offered be amatriptaline to take regularly to help with the pain. There should be more research into the genital herpes nerve pain as the two have to be connected. Even though suppreice therapy stops my outbreaks completely I still get nerve pain regularly and I just take co codamol eveb though it doesn’t really help it just takes the edge off.
Thank u for responding...yes that's what I was thinking...it really sucks bcuz I can't even walk or excersize anymore....the pain is unbearable when I try to do anything....this sucks really bad....
Do gou have any skin lesions in your back?
I think you should see neurologist. May be sciatica.
