I have asked a few things on this forum before. This is my new question. Had diverticulitis, 7 days in hospital in November last year. I have severe back pain now. Not much tummy pain. Had colonoscopy, couldn't get scope past recto sigmoid junction. Did biopsies. Normal . Virtual colonoscopy on Wednesday. I will see my GI after that. Can anyone relate to the back pain? I can't find anything to explain this. No infection now. Feel very fluey sometimes and generally not gone back to normal. All other colonoscopies over the years have been fine .
Hi I’m in the hospital now treating my diverticulitis for the last 7 days hopefully I’m going out tomorrow . Only advise I can say have you tried the blood test that explain if any diverticulitis related
But make sure you d rink a lot of water for your back pain

Thanks for replying. All blood tests are clear. No infection. Could still,be a complication from the diverticulitis last year. It was severe.
Hi , I was admitted into hospital 2 days ago with the most excruciating back pain, the worst pain I've ever experienced. They done multiple scans and tests and all came back negative. Due to my history of constipation and stomach pain they referred me to a GI and suggested it could be DD and I am now awaiting an appointment.
