SEVERE BOWEL PAIN!!! PLEASE HELP ME.!!Should i go to hospital??

hello everyone. i have been experiencing since yesterday such pain in my abdomen its unbelivable. It is not constant pain but rather every 10-20-30 min attacks of pain that leave me in tears. i am 27 and never had this before. i have diarrea in last 5 hours - 18 times. and i have 37.5 degrees celsius temperature. it hurts me from my lungs to my groins. it is like i can feel my bowel moving. yesterday evening i had 1 gin tonic and some popcorns. pain started after the popcorns. kept me awake all night... it is not showing signs of stopping but pain even intensifies with time. only time where i feel a little relief is when i go to toilet. i dont understand what this is.. how to help it. i drink black tea and camomile tea. i ate just now some little veggie soup and i immediately felt like throwing up as i was eating it. pain is a little better when i lay on my back. as soon as i go on the sides it starts. it feels like spasm pain. do i need to go to hospital? please can anyone help me? please! thank you very much!

I would say yes, go to the hospital. At the worst they can diagnose something benign – but I think you must go. karen

Its always better to be safe than sorry. Get yourself to the hospital to get your pain checked out. Take care and keep in touch.

i agree, you must go to hospital and get checked over, may just be something simple and cured with medication.

yes, when many people tell you to go to hospital - you listen…i was there for 8h, getting fluids because i was dehydrated completely. i had almost no minerals in my system anymore..
They gave me an iv, did some tests and concluded its gastroenteritis. still i am waiting on stool test to see if its virus, bacteria or parasites.
my status in unchanged, i have horror cramps in bowels today.. sooo painful and every 10 mins.
temp is around 38. and i have watery stool 10 times already, also with blood.
idk, i am sad, desperate and in pain. i just want it to stop…
