There is something very wrong with this pain I’m feeling after surgery!
Everything else has calmed down, but this pain is crazy!
It is a burning, raw, intense pain inside my right side abdomen. It wavers in intensity.
This morning it woke me up and I feels like I am being burnt with acid or fire in one spot.
I already saw the post-op Dr. last week and he blew it off? He said it must be pain I had prior to surgery- only that pain was from my gallbladder and felt different in nature.
Has Anyone felt this?! It’s unbearable, something is definitely not right.
Hiya
I just posted on another conversation, I am 4 weeks post surgery and have just back from seeing the surgeon, I asked him why I still had pain where my GB was and right round my right side, he explained that there is a nerve near the portal to the liver and this gets agrivated during surgery, it will settle down in time.
I do hope this may help.
Oh wow, I hope so! Thank you. Did your pain feel similar to what I describe? I’m in such agony. The gallbladder pain was nothing compared to this!
Yes! Kate the pain has been extremely bad for the last week, much worse than the original gallbladder, at least I have got an answer now I hope!! He did stress however that if I develop fever, high temperature, vomiting to call him.
All the best
