Severe pain

I have been diagnosed with a 4cm ovarian cyst to my left Ovary.  They say its fluid filled so does not look cancerous.  I have a higher reading blood test for the ca-125.  I have been on the menapause for 5 years.  I have had 2 days of pain in stomach with loose motions.  My lower back aches and I feel sick.  My stomach is like a football.  The pain is all below my ribcage and I feel generally unwell.  I have just had a further blood test and waiting the results and also having another scan in a few weeks time.  I feel the pain is getting worse so went walk in centre who have sent me home saying its not a gp surgery.

Hi again Anne,I've only just read this post of yours which you posted 5 days ago.nobody should have to be in as much pain as you are experiencing.i would go straight to your doctor and tell them your in agony and need to be referred asap.although I had a large cyst I wasn't in that much pain.its not right that you have to suffer like that.imwas lucky I seen to reasonably quick.good luck.dont leave ,push for it x

I went to walk in centre last week and just sent me home, its nearly a month since I had a scan so not sure if cyst has grown.  My Gp wants to see me because of the rise in blood test so hope they can help and let me see a consultant and thanks again for your infomation

Thanks Anne

When I had my scan I saw a specialist around 2 weeks after and he offered me the operation 3 weeks later.keep pestering the doctor and tell them your in agony.surely they have to refer quicker then.good luck

Yes I will push for it when I see her next week
