Severe thrush I'm in extreme pain

Right basically I shaved and when the hair started to regrow I was so itchy and I a moment of weakness I scrubbed down there as soon as I got out the bath it was very stupid thing to do and to make matter worse I put vagisil on it, few days I went to doctors coz I'd felt really sore , Dr said I had severe thrush and had rubbed my self raw causing little sores Dr gave me thrush treatment pessary and cream, thrush is going but the sores are unbelievably painful when pee getting on them and peeing in water doesn't help

Any advice that could help I'm open to any suggestions

P.s both me and my hubby have been sti checked both negative on all stis

Hi, the only suggestion I have is to drink a bit more water than usual. It will dilute your urine and hopefully sting a little bit less. You could also add some some Sodium Citrate to the water. It will make your urine slightly alkaline and reduce the stinging. It is sold in the form of sachets and used to reduce the pain during a urinary tract infection. More info here:
