SEVERE toothache accompanied with sickness and migraines for years now. Please help

Hi, really hope someone can help. My partner of 2years has suffered nearly every week (if not more often) with episodes of severe toothache out of no where. This is often (99% of the time) accompanied with migraines and vomiting. He will try to sleep it off and stay in a dark room. It can last anywhere between half an hour and all day. Weirdly it happens nearly everytime he drinks alcohol too which I don't know if it's a coincidence or not. This will happen about 85% of the times he drinks. Although for a whole week on an all inclusive holiday he did not feel a thing and we were drinking everyday.. Uv thought it could possibly due to anxiety and stress, as we have been through a lot of upheaval and there has always been something negative going on... He's had root canal treatment twice which hasn't worked. He has suffered from 2 very bad absests in the last 3 years as well and his wisdom tooth is coming through. He tells me the pain changes places so it can't be the wisdom tooth..

Does anyone know what this could be. He's upstairs being sick right now and there's nothing I can do to help him.

Thanks in advance

I'd tell him to stop drunk alcohol as that could be a trigger and get him a referral from his dentist to the facial and mouth department at the hospital

He hardly ever drinks. But if we have to go to a party or something, he can have half a lager and it will set it off ... hes been back and forth to the dentist god knows how many times... hes also had procedured which havent made any difference. Im thinking it will be smething non medical....

I don't know what to suggest with it being non medical. The only thing I can think of is it may be a case of TMD, if you Google it there are a bunch of home treatments but they're really just to ease the pain. I'd raise your concerns with his GP and see what he thinks about it being a non medical issue. Best of luck.
