Sex is very painful me - Really worried

hi everyone, ive been searching for an answer for this for months and im struggling to put my mind at rest.

Over the past year sex has become really painful for me. ive never had this issue before and ive had the same partner for 3 years.

Its come to the point now where everytime we have sex ,its really painful.

The pain feels like its inside me and its constant through the whole time of having sex. Almost like an intense burning sensation inside me. Every second hurts so at the minute i can’t have sex because of this.

Ive been to the GP a few times and had swab tests, but nothing came back.

Its got to the point where im really worried about this, im starting to worry if its something thats wrong with me and maybe something that will link to my fertility and having children.

We’ve tried to make it easier by using lots of lubricant etc but the pain is always the same.

Has anyone expierienced anything like this before? or have any suggestions on what to do?

I just want to know whats wrong with me :frowning:

Really sorry to hear you’ve been having this issue, if your swabs came back clear I would start looking at the problem being a possible muscle issue. I have a condition called Vaginismus which in my case which is the highest grade, penetration is impossible however some people with Vaginismus are able to have sex but with a lot of pain and discomfort. There can be hundereds of causes for the condition and I’m not saying you definitely have it but it sounds as though you could do. I would do some research and also consider the use of dilators as these can help a lot when sex is painful, also using a vaginal moisturiser such as Replens to insert internally can help to keep you well lubricated from the inside. I would at this point go back to your GP and request a referral to a gynaecologist and explain that you are experiencing deep dysparenuia. Best of luck hun.:heart:
