Sexual dysfunction young female

Hello.

I’m a 29 year old female.

In the summer of 2019 (july) I noticed a change in my sexual functioning.

The first thing I noticed was that it took a lot longer for me to have an orgasm.

Later I also noticed decreased lubrication upon arousal and stimulation as well as decreased intensity and duration of orgasm. There was also decreased sensitivity to tactile stimuli all the time, though it was not numb.

I am using a lot of medications due to chronic pain from spondylarthritis and cervikogenic headache/occipital neuaralgia (still not fully diagnosed, it’s severe sharp headache on the right side of th back of the head that extends up to behind the ear on the same side). I also have a migraine diagnosis.

I’ve had another ‘issue’ of my left labia falling asleep and going completely numb (like when you’re foot falls asleep) multiple times, maybe a little bit more during my period. It doesn’t seem to be affected by position or pressure, but it has been slightly periodic in that it can be gone for a long time then be there several times a day for a week or so. My neurologist said it was a little similar to pudendal neuralgia and suggested I try Valacyclovir. One course of that definitily hasn’t cured the issue as I still got it later, but I guess it could be a very recurrent infection without a rash (very rare), though I don’t really think so. It would be herpes zoster, as blood tests have shown that I’ve never had herpes.

I believe more that the issue could be caused by the vaginal cyst that I have on the left side or the endometriosis that I was told that I could have, or the chronic constiptation I also have had. They told me that I had a gartner duct cyst, a complex cyst on my ovary with content similar to blood. I have also been told that I had a bartholin cyst or abscess, but that lump has decreased in size. I also have a small lump under the mucosa right next to the clitoris. I have been told that I can have a surgery to check for endometriosis, but I didn’t like the doctor there very much and they were going to do two surgeries at the same time and they put me up for general anesthesia. I didn’t get it done because of these things.

I really hope the sexual dysfunction isn’t due to a nerve injury, because I suspect it might be permanent then.

I’m wondering if anyone here has had sexual dysfunction associated with the use of opioids?

I’m currently on opioids, nsaid, acetamminophen, low dosage baclofen, esomeprazole and quetiapine.

I’m also looking for supplements or drugs that I can look into that might help with strongly delayed and muted orgasms.

Thanks in advance

This is a really complex situation and I doubt anyone here is well placed to assist. I’d recommend finding the right physician for you, and trusting them to work through the difficulties you face together. Good luck, I hope things improve for you.
