Shadow across eye when I look to the left

Had lens replaced on Monday today long vision seems less and shadow across edge of vision when I look to the left anyone had similar ?

I had a lens replaced on the 17th July and I had the shadow effect for about 2 weeks.  Also my vision is not as good as it was originally (not that it was great!) but they had terrible trouble pinning my eyelids back because of my deep set eyes.  I was very bruised and swollen.  I got so frightened I had an emergency appointment, but apparently nothing wrong, it just takes time.  They have given me a month, without any more examinations etc so the eye can settle down.  Very gradually things are improving so I think you will find that your eye will settle down.  I think we all hope it will be instant like it is for quite a few people but not always.  

Hope everything goes well for you, if you are worried at all get the eye checked out if only for your peace of mind.

Thanks Jacqui I have just come back from a and e 6 hours but as you said all is well will have to be Patient .

So glad they did not find any problems.  Isn't it very reassuring to have somebody tell you that everything will be okay, it is quite frightening especially where your eyesight is concerned to have things not right.  That is the good thing about having it checked out.  

I am getting about 2 hours a day good sight in my left eye, so there is improvement.  Strange how it comes and goes, I just keep my fingers crossed that one day it will be fine all day.

Have you seen any improvement yet?  Not easy being patient is it?
